February is here and it just so happens to be one of my favorite months! For one, my birthday is in February. Without this month, I wouldn’t be here. Secondly, it’s an important month because it’s Black History Month. Lastly, Valentine’s Day is this month and it’s so imperative to spread love. It costs nothing to spread kindness and cheer, but if you’re wanting to buy a gift for someone else or even yourself, I’ve got you covered.

Here’s my Valentine’s Day gift guide:

Red Velvet Mocha & Raspberry Mocha from Game Day Coffee Co.- Their coffee is delicious! The flavors are phenomenal and you can even purchase a heart-shaped cookie with your order. If you’re not sure what to get someone, a gift card is always a great choice. They are offering these…

Happy New Year! 2021 is here and I think many of us are wanting to start with our best foot forward. For me, that means getting healthier. Have you heard of the quarantine 15? If not, it’s a nod to the weight gain many people experienced during the lockdowns. No shame in it and how you coped with the very difficult year. Luckily, many gyms and fitness places have adapted to all that is going on. I’ve collected virtual workout options as well as in-person options in BCS. Here is the list:

Virtual:

Caitlyn Maculso- She offers Turbokick and Piyo classes. Turbokick is cardio kickboxing with a dance vibe. Piyo is pilates/yoga fusion which is an athletic class that is good for all fitness levels.

Can you believe it’s already back to school time? The summer seemed to fly by! I know there are many strong emotions going into this school year, but I hope we can all remember to be kind to each and have grace towards one another. This is a difficult time for everyone!
