Brunchin' In B/CS

In honor of new brunch options opening in College Station this week, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite brunch places in the Bryan/College Station area! One of the best benefits of more people moving to Bryan/College Station is the expansion of our food options. A couple of years ago when prospective clients asked about fun brunch places, there was very little to offer. Now we have a fantastic selection with more on the way!

First Watch

4501 Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802

Monday-Sunday 7:00am-2:30PM

One of the first brunch options to come to BCS! Lots of great options here with a rotating seasonal menu. Lots of healthy options available along with classic favorites!

Recommendation: Acai bowl, green juice, farmhouse skillet hash, lemon ricotta pancakes

Maddens Casual Gourmet

202 S Bryan Ave, Bryan, TX 77803

Saturday 11am-3pm

Sunday 10am-2pm

One of my favorite restaurants (not just for brunch) because of the amazing food & atmosphere.

Recommendation: crab cake eggs benedict & brunch enchiladas. Also their tomato bisque soup is amazing!

800 N Main St, Bryan, TX 77803

Sunday 11am-2pm

My latest favorite restaurant overall. Farm to table & never disappoints. Located in the old ice house in Downtown Bryan.

Recommendation: Chicken fried steak, beignets (an absolute must), and anything with wagyu beef and eggs. You won't be disappointed!

Mess Waffles, ETC

170 Century Square Dr #10, College Station, TX 77840

Monday-Friday 8am-2pm

Saturday & Sunday 8am-3pm

Originally had Mess when was it was a food truck on Texas A&M's campus. It has only improved since then and is home to one of the tastiest chicken & waffles I have ever had.

Recommendation: Chicken & waffles with signature maple aioli. Buffalo ranch mac and cheese!

Stella Southern Cafe

4040 Hwy 6 Suite 100, College Station, TX 77845

Monday-Sunday 7am-2pm

One of the newer additions to the BCS brunch list, Stella's is great for every biscuit lover. They serve up majority of the brunch classic you're used to & have some extremely tasty options!

Recommendation: buttermilk biscuits & gravy, berry biscuit french toast, SEC egg sandwich, shrimp & grits

Downtown Elixir

120 S Main St, Bryan, TX 77803

Sunday 8am-2pm

This is one that not a whole lot of people know about but everyone should! Amazing brunch options and of course top notch brunch cocktails. Love recommending this place to my clients!

Recommendation: eggs benedict, crab cakes, bananas foster french toast, shrimp & grits, any of the cocktails

Mad Taco

404 Jane St #400, College Station, TX 77840

1664 Greens Prairie Rd W, College Station, TX 77845

Sunday 10:30am-2pm

This is Texas. Who doesn't love a taco place that does Brunch on Sundays? Obviously the mimosa margarita doesn't hurt either!

Recommendation: Smokin hot steak & egg taco, MAD morning bowl

Another Broken Egg Cafe

11655 FM 2154 Ste. 100, College Station, TX 77845

Monday-Sunday 7am-2pm

The newest addition to the BCS brunch scene! I have not gotten to try this place yet, but super excited to get the chance! Go support this new business!

Snooze AM Eatery

Location TBA

Hours will be Monday-Sunday 6:30-2:30pm

I am super excited for this coming to College Station because I am a true lover of eggs benedict & this restaurant boasts 5+  varieties!

Hopefully this list helps you the next time you're trying to find a great place for brunch! And the next time someone tries to the say the Bryan/College Station area doesn't have enough brunch options, set them straight (: Follow my food blog @copperspoonblog
