Traditions is a community on the rise in Bryan College Station. It is located "on the west side of Bryan / College Station, virtually surrounded by Texas A&M University yet secluded within the oak and elm forests of central Texas... Traditions Club and Community features a Nicklaus Design golf course, a burgeoning town center, the region's best-in-class corporate campus and all of the cultural, wellness and culinary amenities befitting a world-class private club." It's obvious to see why Traditions has quickly turned into one of the most sought after communities for Bryan College Station residents.

Being a member of the Traditions community myself, I'm familiar with all that it has to offer and have been able to utilize this expertise in the real

This is an extremely important topic, because lately I have been realizing that a lot of buyers (and some sellers) do not factor in closing costs when considering purchasing/selling a home. With these costs varying anywhere from $1000-$20,000, they are definitely something buyers should be educated on and aware of upfront. So what exactly are closing costs?    Closing costs are the fees and charges paid to finalize the purchase/sale of a home. Both sellers and buyers will incur closing costs during a transaction. So who is responsible for what?  This graphic just represents the most common closing costs incurred by the buyer/seller. Certain things (for example the survey and owner…

Living in the age of HGTV brings along a lot of desire to purchase "fixer upper" properties. What we are also seeing along with this fixer upper craze is the trend of homeowners cutting out the middle-man and taking on renovations themselves. While I 100% support taking on these renovations, but it is important to remember to always get the necessary permits. Most people are surprised at just how many home projects actually require permits. Researching/applying for the necessary permits should always be one of the first steps when planning for your home projects. Always check with the city to ensure that you have applied for the correct permits, because if not fines and fees could occur. Most homeowners don't realize that projects as small as

Founded on the cornerstones of family, tradition and romance, Messina Hof Winery & Resort has held its place as a Brazos Valley staple since its founding in 1977. It is the estate winery where the Messina Hof winemaking team crafts our world-class wines. Messina Hof had humble beginnings as founders, Paul Vincent and Merrill Bonarrigo ran the lab, tastings, etc right out of their living room.

Jump forward to 2019 and the Bonarrigo's have done it again!!  The two have grafted their passion for wine and wine country living to developed Messina Hof Estates that grants VIP membership to Messina Hof Winery with each home (or lot) purchase.  There are currently over 22 homesites of an acre+

As we begin another year, everyone wants to know: “Where is the housing market headed in 2019?”

It’s not only buyers, sellers, and homeowners who are impacted. The real estate market plays an integral role in the overall U.S. economy.  Fortunately, key indicators point toward a stable housing market in 2019 with signs of modest growth. However, shifting conditions could impact you if you plan to buy, sell, or refinance this year.
