One of the best benefits of more people moving to Bryan/College Station is the expansion of our food options. A couple of years ago when prospective clients asked about fun brunch places, there was very little to offer. Now we have a fantastic selection with more on the way!

In 2019, College Station ranked #16 out of the top 20 boomtowns in America, according to the financial company "SmartAsset." They chose seven variables to base these rankings off of which included "population change, unemployment rate, GDP growth rate, one-year change in unemployment rate, five-year establishment growth, five-year housing growth, and five-year change in household income." The five-year housing growth rate came in at 20.43% and the five-year population change came in at 12.30%.

Happy Friday!! Today on the blog I am covering two of my favorite topics: renovations & returns! Having recently purchased my first home in March of 2019 (1950's fixer upper) I have researched more on these topics than I could have ever imagined. With my home 98.8% complete, I am so excited to share my newfound knowledge & lessons learned with my clients. The 2019 National Association of Realtors Remodeling Impact Report has also just come out and offers some great statistics to back up what I have researched/learned.
