Fourth of July to me has always meant American pride, fireworks, family, and grilling. It might look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it or see fireworks. There are not as many events as there normally are, but there are still a few. Here are events for this weekend:

First Friday in Historic Downtown Bryan on July 3rd, 110 S. Main St Bryan, TX 77803 from 9:00 am- 10:00 pm.

Drive-in 4th of July Fireworks at Rellis Campus on July 4th, 3100 TX-47 Bryan, TX 77807. Parking lot opens at 7:30 pm and fireworks start at 9:00 pm.

17th Annual Kurten Fireworks Show & Fundraiser at Kurten Community Center on July 4th, 13055 State Highway 21 East Kurten, TX 77808 from 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm.

The benefits of new construction are undeniable.

~ The first to live there; untouched by others. ~ New appliances and warranties. ~ Finishes and treatments you may have gotten to choose.  Buying new construction is ideal for many people and stopping in to visit a sales office can make the process seem like a breeze; but there are plenty of good reasons to make sure to bring your own Realtor® with you on that visit.   The Builder's Agent is who will greet you when you stop by a builder's sales office. When you purchase new construction you are purchasing from the builder and the builder will have an agent. When you purchase an existing construction you would want to have your own agent right? Quarantine has certainly given me the extra time that I needed to establish an awesome home maintenance routine. I was putting it all together when I realized that I should probably start sharing this checklist with my sellers when they list their homes, since it is a great, easy way to keep the home looking "showing ready"! A clean, organized home will always show better to potential buyers than a cluttered, dirty home filled with odd smells. This is one of the easiest (and definitely cheapest) ways you can set your home apart from the others on the market that potential buyers may be looking at and comparing to your home.  Whether you're selling your home or just wanting to get a new home cleaning routine established, this checklist should

Census Future

Have you filled out your 2020 Census yet? If you haven't don't worry ~ there is still time!

Why fill it out?

Completing the Census is in our Constitution! Article 1, Section 2 mandates that the country count it's population every 10 years.

~ It's funding

Census results affect planning & funding for highways, first responders, health and education programs. Billions of dollars are distributed to states and communities based on the results of the Census!

~ It's your voice

State Congressional Representative numbers are determined based on Census numbers.

Can I still respond to the 2020 Census?

~ YES! Originally Census takers were going to go door-to-door through AUGUST 14th to

For this month, my blog will be a little different with all that is going on at this time. As you know, the Coronavirus is spreading throughout the world. It is important to not panic, but take precautions seriously. There are many ways you can help, even with these precautions. Let’s stick together as a community and help each other. Here are a few ways to help:

  1. Donate blood by appointment.
  2. Buy gift cards or order to-go from locally owned restaurants.
  3. Stay home if you do not truly need to go out.
  4. Make masks for hospitals.
  5. Do a mental health check (virtually) on your friends, family, and neighbors.
  6. If you have to go out, think before you touch and follow the 6 feet apart rule.

In our community of Bryan/College Station and
