How to Declutter Your Kid's Rooms for Showings

When it comes to showings and getting your house on the market, kids rooms are very important, especially to families!

Here are some tips and tricks to declutter them and fast.

Step 1: Do the easy things first

Start by going through the kiddo's toys and throwing away the broken ones then moving to the dress up clothes. If the clothes are too small, give them away. Move towards putting trash in the trashcan and clearing up the floor space.

Make sure to make the bed! That is the focal point of the room.

Step 2: Container Storage

The most important part of keeping a room decluttered is the storage concept! Label some fun containers to keep the kid's room clean and keep it fun! You can label for their toys, their costumes, and their regular clothes. Containers are a cheap and easy way to make sure their room stays spotless!

Step 3: Clean

It is not uncommon for children to be messy and their rooms to be the reflection of that. In order to really declutter your little one's room, make sure you vacuum or Swiffer very well! Buyers want to see a clean floor!

You don’t need to make this a tedious project! Enlist your kids to help and make it a fun way to really organize their rooms! Have them pick out their favorites and toss out the old and get the job done quickly.
