Golf Course Communities In Bryan/College Station on the Rise

Bryan/ College Station offers many different options for people who are looking for a golf course community to call home. Traditions, Miramont, Pebble Creek, and Briarcrest are the most recognized coures in the area, and even in the state of Texas. 

Traditions

Traditions is a private golf club and residential community in Bryan, TX. This golf course is a Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II Design Championship 19 hole golf course. What makes this community unique are the luxurious amenities such as swim center with a wading pool for children with a junior Olympic lap pool for adults, clubhouse, and all the property options like the Villas, Game Day Homes, Hidden Birdge Condos, Estate Lots and much more. The options for dining range from a grill that offers hamburgers to fit your after golf appetite all the way to the undergound wine cellar, bar, and outdoor terrace with fire pits that offer fine dining options.  Working off your delectable meal is convenient in the state of the art fitness center which includes both mens and womens locker rooms. 

This community also features beautiful custom homes, estate lots, and golf course homesites that wind through the golf course. Homesites range from a .4 acre garden site to sprawling estate sites with over an 1 acre. Imagine being able to enjoy your morning coffee while looking out your window and seeing the beauty of the golf course. If you are not looking to live in Traditions or are looking for somewhere for guests to stay but would like to experience luxurious overnight or extended-stay accommodations then staying in the Casitas and Cottages at Traditions is for you.

Membership at Traditions can be accommodated to your needs with golf or no golf options and you do not have to be a resident to have attain membership. Traditions is also home to the Texas A&M Men’s and Women’s golf teams and actually hosted the NCAA Women's National Championship in 2011. Miramont

Miramont is a private golf course community with a 22 hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones II and was opened in 2005.  This golf course has been ranked #10 in the state by Golf Digest Magazine and provides a challenge for the pro but enjoyment for the armature also.   The golf course surrounds a 93,000 square foot club house. Amenities to the clubhouse include tennis courts, fitness center, spa, and swimming pool. Fine dining can accommodate anything from a formal ball to a relaxed children’s birthday party.  There is also a grill for casual meals after you work up an appetite on the course or Portifino for a nice night out with the family. Membership to Miramont also includes 15 suites for your guests to use when they are visiting.  Miramont actually has extra practice holes with beautiful home sites over looking the fairways. 

The Miramont community is a family friendly neighborhood of homes with sidewalks, creek, and a lake for fun activities on the weekends. The neighborhood has architectural standards, progressive development plans, and therefore property values continue to grow. There are many different options for housing including Villas, Garden, Premier, and estate. Pebble Creek

Pebble Creek is a golf course community that has twice been voted the best golf course in the Brazos Valley. This 18 hole champion golf course was designed by Ken Dye.  The Tennis courts at Pebble Creek are also a big draw to the community.  7 Tennis courts have hosted e Garlyn

Shelton BMW/Pebble Creek Men's ATP Challenger--a USTA professional circuit event that drew top players from around the world.  The Junior Program is also known as one of the best in the state and many youth from the program end up ranked on the national level.  Some of these youth have gone on to receive scholarships from Purdue, Rhodes and Mercer, UT, and Trinity.

Other amenities at Pebble Creek include pools, exercise room, locker and card rooms, bar, banquet rooms, camps, and special events that are held at the club house. There are also varying options for dining that range from a grill to the Empire Dining Room and Lounge for formal dining occasions.

The Housing at Pebble Creek is deed restricted and had building criteria to help protect the investment of each homeowner. The community also has an elementary school nearby and adjacent to that is a ten-acre park with playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, and jogging trails. Briarcrest

Briarcrest is Bryan/College Station’s only semi-private Golf Club.  There is no community attached but the amenities make this a great place to unwind with family or friends. The 18 hole championship golf course includes a practice area, driving range, and putting and chipping area. There are also private or group lessons available.  Ladies, Men’s and Junior Golf Associations let you join up with other golfers to enjoy activities and fun events.  A pro shop is also available to meet your needs for last minute golf equipment.  Briarcrest also features a swimming pool/patio area that has water aerobics and swim lessons, tennis courts, fitness center with group and individual training, and a banquet facility. These amenities make it so there is something for everyone. This was once the only golf course community in Brazos Valley. 

Bryan/ College Station is currently in a period of growth which means new people are moving into Aggieland at a rapid pace. Golf communities boast many amenities and beautiful housing options that will attract many of these new residents. With the game of golf in America growing don't be suprised in the future if you see another golf course community spring up in this area to compete with the others we named earlier.
