Can you believe it’s already back to school time? The summer seemed to fly by! I know there are many strong emotions going into this school year, but I hope we can all remember to be kind to each and have grace towards one another. This is a difficult time for everyone! With that said, I wanted to provide access to the plans for BISD and CSISD for this school year. For BISD you have until August 3rd to select a plan and for CSISD you have until July 30th to select a plan.

For Bryan Independent School District, they are offering:

  1. On-campus learning- A face-to-face learning experience taking place on campus while following all safety recommendations by the Texas Department of State Health Services, the Texas Education Agency, and the Brazos…

Census Future

Have you filled out your 2020 Census yet? If you haven't don't worry ~ there is still time!

Why fill it out?

~ It's the law

Completing the Census is in our Constitution! Article 1, Section 2 mandates that the country count it's population every 10 years.

~ It's funding

Census results affect planning & funding for highways, first responders, health and education programs. Billions of dollars are distributed to states and communities based on the results of the Census!

~ It's your voice

State Congressional Representative numbers are determined based on Census numbers.

Can I still respond to the 2020 Census?

~ YES! Originally Census takers were going to go door-to-door through AUGUST 14th to…

For this month, my blog will be a little different with all that is going on at this time. As you know, the Coronavirus is spreading throughout the world. It is important to not panic, but take precautions seriously. There are many ways you can help, even with these precautions. Let’s stick together as a community and help each other. Here are a few ways to help:

  1. Donate blood by appointment.
  2. Buy gift cards or order to-go from locally owned restaurants.
  3. Stay home if you do not truly need to go out.
  4. Make masks for hospitals.
  5. Do a mental health check (virtually) on your friends, family, and neighbors.
  6. If you have to go out, think before you touch and follow the 6 feet apart rule.

In our community of Bryan/College Station and…

I wanted to quickly hop on the blog today to talk about a topic on everyone's minds: COVID 19. As of yesterday (March 23rd) Brazos County has been formally placed under the shelter in place status. Non-essential jobs are working from home, kids are home-schooling, & people are expected to only go out in public for essential needs & outdoor exercise. What does this all mean for B/CS real estate activities?

Well the short answer is that this will vary case-by-case.

Each brokerage & individual real estate professional is able to make their own determination of how they will conduct their business for the time being. Lucky for the real estate industry, we are used to working remotely & doing most of our activities online. Real estate activities…

Have you heard about the new Midtown Area Plan? It looks like a really interesting plan for the future of this area of Bryan.

Click here to learn more about whats in store or to provide your feedback about the future of the Midtown area!

"The plan is meant to guide the city through redevelopment of about two square miles surrounding the former municipal golf course on West Villa Maria Road, from historic Downtown Bryan to the city limits shared with the City of College Station and generally bound by Finfeather Road to the west and South Texas Avenue to the east. The plan includes recommendations for five “experience districts” within the area, a market opportunity study, a section that outlines pattern zoning — a new type of zoning that includes…
