Why live in Traditions?
There are other communities in town that offer club memberships with residency, such as Miramont and Pebble Creek, but I for one love Traditions. It’s such a welcoming community with so many amenities. Whether you choose the peace and quiet route, or the active path, you will feel right at home at Traditions. I should know, my family and I are proud members of the club and residents in the neighborhood!
There is a wonderful social scene at Traditions. Whether it’s new member socials, live music happy hours, holiday themed parties, Aggie football watch parties, or just cocktails and drinks on a Wednesday night in the grill, there is always something happening at Traditions. Members are encouraged to meet and socialize with other members and their guests and the club provides ample opportunities throughout the year to do just that.
For the athletically inclined, Traditions is also home to a world class Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, and the home course of the Texas A&M University men’s and women’s golf teams. After your round enjoy the family friendly pool complex, complete with three separate swimming areas and two outdoor bar/recreation areas. Traditions provides a shuttle to and from Kyle Field for home football games, and if you have any out of town guests coming in for the weekend, rent a beautiful 2, 3, or 4 bedroom casita. They’re right on the golf course and with full access to all the club has to offer.
Traditions is centrally located, with easy access to both Bryan, College Station and Easterwood airport. It’s quiet at Traditions, but just steps away there is a lot happening. Its adjacent to the brand new Texas A&M Health Science Center and PARC, an upscale senior living complex. In addition, the new Stella Hotel is just weeks away from completion, which will open the door to more development, including retail shopping and restaurants.
Traditions is home to many Aggie Alumni and some whom are not, but here we’re all family. You’ll see friends and neighbors daily, whether on the miles of wide walking trails throughout the neighborhood, or in the evening on the patio or by the firepit at the club. You can be as social or as private as you choose.
Traditions is zoned for the Bryan Independent School District, or if private school makes more sense for your children, the highly acclaimed Brazos Christian school is literally across the street.
For all of these reasons, and for so many more that I don’t have room to list here, my family loves living here. I grew up in Bryan, I’ve seen this town and this region grow and change throughout the years. It’s amazing to see how far its come and also exciting to know its only getting better. And the best news? The community at Traditions is at the center of it all! Come visit us… you might just decide to stay!
