Instead of saying "sorry about that, good luck with your search" (which I had gotten a LOT from the many realtors I'd encountered) he asked specifically what I was looking for and helped me fine something amazing within my price point. This was my first time buying a house and I didn't feel like he talked down to me at all. He made me feel like all the questions I had were valid and he answers then in a way that he knew would make sense to me. His response times were also much appreciated. I was never stuck waiting hours on his reply. I could spend hours explaining how amazing I thought working with him was. I wish I could give hime more than just five stars. The service he provided was much better than only 5 stars. If he is still in the business when I'm looking to sell the house you can bet I'm going to ask him to be the one to list it!

She even managed to have our closing in separate rooms, which I requested so we did not to have be in the same room as the arduous seller who, even on the day of closing, found a way to make the closing strenuous. She followed up with us even after the closing to make sure the move was going well and the work we wanted done was being completed. Here is our home buying story and why Melissa is a fabulous realtor and person. We were moving from out of state. Melissa made sure she was available to drive and show us around when we made a quick trip to visit our new town. It was great to listen to her knowledge on neighborhoods, schools, traffic, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, etc. She was willing to answer any question asked. What all can I say. Deana work very, very hard to sell my house and got me more money than expected out of my house. Deana worked day and night to help me find the house of my dreams. I could not ask for more out of a real estate agent!!! She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate.

I am currently in the process of relocating from Atlanta to B/CS and reached out to TM5 via their website. Kendra and her team did a wonderful job in marketing and selling our home. We were listing late in the peak season, so pricing was crucial not to miss any remaining prospective buyers. Then, in negotiations, she again came through with  updated comps and her own research that gave us renewed confidence in our list price and ability to negotiate a reasonable final price. Since 2007, I've invested in College Station real estate, working with several agents and management companies along the way.

My wife and I faced a dilemma.

 

Our family had simply outgrown our current home and we needed to find a larger one … a place for us to grow into and not out of. The house we were living in was too small for us and we knew it when we bought it. Secondly, it was in a declining area of the community. We did our part to make sure the house was nice and livable, but as they say, the three most important factors in real estate are location, location and location.

 

And quite frankly, our home was located in an area of town people where moving out of and not into.

 

We listed our home with a competitor and there were only four to five showings in the entire 6 month agreement that we signed. At the end of the agreement, our then realtor asked us what we could do to increase the number of showings our house received. What? Asked us? He was supposed to be the expert … why should we come up with strategies to do his job for him?

 

Meanwhile, Deana’s son and our son had played hockey with and against each other as kids. We started visiting with Deana about our dilemma and she suggested we not renew with the competitive realtor and opt to go with her instead.

 

It was encouraging that she wanted to take on our home despite the challenges we’d had in moving it … but more importantly, we decided to list it with a friend and/or acquaintance. In less than two months, the number of showings our house received doubled from the prior six months.

 

In fact, she actually sold it twice. She had it under contract from one buyer, but the financing fell through.

 

It wasn’t much longer after that she had lined up another buyer … in the meantime, she was showing us possible homes for us to move into. We were not only able to sell our challenging home, but we also found something that was in the center of our price range (she didn’t try to sell us more house than what we needed) and something we enjoyed and still enjoyed to this day.

 

Deana and her team were professional and knowledgeable in the negotiation process for us as the sellers and as the buyers, as well as all throughout the financing and closing portions of the transaction.

Jill is very tenacious, knowledgeable about the market, attentive to detail, and responsive. She had my property sold in such a short time. She kept me updated on all the activity on the property. She is definitley the one to go with when you're looking for a quick sale at a good price.

Jill has been more than a realtor to us, she has been a key part of making our transition to College Station a pleasure. She not only picked up a package that had been left at the house when we were unable to come to College Station, she assisted us when at the last minute the crew who was supposed to unload our furniture in College Station decided to “no show” by finding a crew who could help on short notice. She called later in the day to be sure everything went well.

Our home buying experience excelled from beginning to end. Melissa was recommended to us as a realtor from a friend. We had a list of realtors to choose from, but as soon as we met with Melissa, it was clear that we wanted to work with her. When we called to inquire about the first place we saw for rent, it was $700.00 a bedroom.  We needed a three bedroom, two bathroom home.  Also, a place where we could have our pets.  She gave us an address of a home to fit the description. She advised us to look at the outside of it, then to let her know if we wished to see the inside. Yes, we did wish to see the inside! She came over right away to open the door so we could!  She answered all our questions, then advised the two adults to fill in the applications right away, which we did.  After the applications were complete, we found out the next day everything was approved!  Very thankful!
